Slidell-Area Man Arrested For Sexual Battery

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Slidell-area man on charges of sexual battery.

On August 29, 2018, the STPSO received a complaint regarding a sexual battery incident that occurred a day prior (August 28). The twenty-two year old female victim advised the incident occurred following a social gathering in a Slidell-area subdivision.

The victim identified the offender as 58-year-old David Mannella of Slidell.

The subsequent investigation led to a warrant being issued through the 22nd Judicial Court for Mannella’s arrest pursuant to L.R.S. 14:43.1 (Sexual Battery).

Mannella was taken into custody (Sept. 11) without incident and will be booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
