Third suspect in June 24 car wash armed robbery turns herself in

Today (Wednesday July 11), just shortly after noon, Picayune Police Department Assistant Chief Jeremy Magri told WRJW News that Brittany Danielle Martin, age 25, 2020 Ladnier Road, Gautier, MS, who was the female suspect in the armed robbery that occurred at a Picayune car wash on June 24th, turned herself in at the Picayune Police Dept’s Criminal Justice Center to detectives.

Magri said Martin was interviewed and then taken into custody for armed robbery. Last week, Martin had communicated that she would turn herself in soon, and finally followed through on that commitment today.

The two other suspects, Andrew James Parris, age 31, 4273 Jefferson Place, Granite Falls, NC, and Lonnie Phillip Bentley, age 24, of 2044 Ada Williams Lane, Lenoir, NC., are still being held by the Caldwell County North Carolina Sheriff’s Department where they face charges due to an encounter with local law enforcement authorities in that area.

Both Parris and Bentley are awaiting extradition back to Mississippi according to Magri.
