Maroon Tide pounds Bay High 15-4

Bay St Louis—Picayune scored in every inning and pounded Bay High 15-4 at Fred Weems Field in Bay St. Louis. The Maroon Tide had 11 hits and Bay High (3-3) committed 5 errors.

Chad Stockstill and Elisha Hickman each had three hits and Kyler Lauga had two hits, including a two run homer. Tyler Penton and Hickman each drove in two runs.

Hickman pitched the first four innings allowing 4 earned runs on 6 hits, walked 2 batters, and recorded 6 strikeouts. Caleb Burnette pitched the last two innings.

The Maroon Tide (6-1) will host Long Beach on Saturday and then open district play at North Pike on Tuesday
