High Tide Productions to give free Performance before going to State

Picayune — Picayune Memorial High School’s drama team, High Tide Productions, will be giving an encore performance of “The Dark Road,” before taking it to State competition next weekend.

The 45 minute drama is about two sisters who find themselves on either side of the conflict during WWII; one follower of Hitler, the other a pacifist.

The play won the team multiple awards at Drama Fest in December, including Best Actress - Olivia Crump , Best Supporting Actress - Kacie Leonard, All Star Cast - Emily Arthur, and Excellence in Makeup Design - Kacie Eades and Jesus Rodriguez.

On Saturday, January 6, the cast is performing “The Dark Road,” at 7:00 p.m. in the Picayune High School Auditorium, doors open at 6:00 p.m. The event is free to the public, but donations are greatly appreciated. Donations will help cover travel and expenses as the team travels to Columbus, Ms, for State Competition next week.
