Search warrant leads to four arrests at a Picayune residence
The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office (PRCSO) recently made four arrests at a Picayune residence after complaints from the community. The arrests came as a result of months of investigation and surveillance of alleged illegal drug activity at 1016 Timberwood Lane, Picayune according to Sheriff David Allison.
The PRCSO investigators executed a search warrant at the residence in conjunction with the Picayune Police Department at around 10:00 p.m. on September 29, 2018, and located four suspects inside the home.
Sheriff Allison said three of suspects were residents of 1016 Timberwood Lane: Kolby Christopher Dragon, age 24, Kyle Joseph Kathmann, age 23, Dominick Bertucci, age 23. The fourth suspect was Skylar Kay Davis, age 21, of 3 Joyce Lumpkin Layne, Picayune. Another female suspect was at the residence, but was not charged.
According to Sheriff Allison, investigators located distribution amounts of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Alprazolam (commonly referred to as Xanax), and MDMA (Methylenedioxymethamphetamine) commonly known as Ecstasy or Molly, digital scales, firearms, and clear plastic baggies, and other items consistent with materials used to distribute illegal narcotics. Davis tried to hide Xanax in her bra, but investigators observed the drug to fall out while investigators were searching the residence. Investigators also found gang paraphernalia and multiple copies of a handbook that outlines the rules and regulations of the gang Latin Kings.
During processing, Investigators discovered that Skylar Davis attempted to conceal evidence upon her person to avoid its detection by placing Methamphetamine and Alprazolam in her bra after the bag of Alprazolam fell out of her shirt onto the ground.
Sheriff Allison said all four suspects were transported to the Pearl River County Jail where they remain incarcerated.
