Free classified ads are for "one of a kind" items for sale, trade or to giveaway, by the general public. Businesses must pay a small fee for their classified ads. Businesses include those with services for hire, including lawn work, sitting services, handyman services, or other services that are done for a fee. Other items that require payment include puppies or kittens of any kind, more than one farm animal, (unless they are given away), fire wood, hay, vegetables, fruit or berries, or handmade items such as bird houses, quilts, etc. These are not "one of a kind" items. To avoid abuse of the "free classified policy", other items that require payment include used automobiles of any type, auto parts, used mobile homes, RVs or campers, or any real estate for sale, flea markets or on-going garage sales, and anything for rent. Help Wanted ads also require a fee. If you have an item on consignment at a business, this ad would require payment. We do not guarantee free ads. If you want to be sure your ad runs in the next issue, you should pay for your ad.
